About the play-
The Play Written by Rajendra Pol, Direction and Concept – Astha Godbole Karlekar & Prashant Jagtap.
In this style the play starts from Gan that is Ganesh Vandana, then Gavlan and Batavni where Gopikas and Lord Krishna along with his friends have an satirical enactment in which they point out the social issues, then the play leads to the main content here the play slowly turns on serious note and leads to the story of Great King Samrat Vikramditya.
In the play the stories are taken from ‘Singhasan Battisi’ which describes and elaborates the Valur, Courage, devotion and the Greatness of Indian King Samrat Vikramaditya.
We dedicate our play to his anonymous contribution and his dedication towards his subjects which makes him ‘Great Ruler’.
The opening performance of the play was staged at Ujjain during the festival organised by Vikrmaditya Shodh sansthan Ujjain
